How do I change display settings?

My son changed the display/property settings to be so large I cannot access the Apply button to change them back. How can I change them back? Thanks.How do I change display settings?
When you change the settings, try hitting alt-A. that should make the computer select apply and apply your settings. You could also play with your vertical and horizontal settings on the monitor till the apply button shows. Hope this helps.
