HOW DO I CREATE AN ALIAS
For every Yahoo! ID you can create 6 aliases. In the Messenger menu at the top of Y!M choose My Account Info and once you sign in, on the right you will see where you can create aliases. I will be posting some help links for you that will explain this in detail. One major thing that is different now is that aliases cannot have unique profiles. If you want an alias to have a profile you will have to link it to your main Yahoo ID. Only link your alias to the main Yahoo ID if you do not mind that they share a profile.
You might need to exit Yahoo! Messenger before the new alias you have created becomes available in the drop down menu of the Join a room window for chat rooms or the drop down menu under Send As in the IM box.

It's brand new go to the dealership and get them to fix it. It's still under warrenty. But to answer your question if you take the instrument cluster out there should be a small screw that will have MPH KPH next to it. If you take the screw out of the KPH and put it in the MPH one it should do the trick but I think if it's that new why not have the dealer do it for free?

I have a playstation 3 and I'm trying to hook it up on my tube tv using the green red and blue components but because it was previously set to 1080i from my projection, when I hook it up and turn the power on to change the display settings to standard definition I can't because the tv shows fuzz. You can only change the display language only in Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate, or you can install a Bosnian Home/ Basic/ Premium/ Professional edition.
If you choose to install Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate, then follow these instructions:
1. Install one of the above mentioned one of the above.
2. The first page mentions which language and keyboard input method you wish to install.
If you ever want to change language without installing Windows 7 again, open Keyboards and Languages in the searchbox and select the required language.

How to change the display back to normal?
After login, the Welcome page and all the pages do not display correctly. Things line up on the right without the format/table settings. It's hard to read the mails. But it shows up correctly when I log on to the same computer with different user account. Cannot figure out how to change it. Don't remember what has been changed either. My laptop seems to heat up and just freezes time to time, i need to change display settings, can you help?
ok instead of keeping my laptop's bottom on table i just wanna keep it on its side so it vents out nicely and my laptop doesn't heat up, its a inspiron 6000 fairly old i guess so I dont mind keep it on its side.

How to change display so the screen looks attractive?
right click on the desktop. click properties. then the tabs at the top can add a back ground by clicking on browse u can chose a picture of ur own, then choose to strech, tile or center (desktop). u can on settings change the size of everything (screen resolution-more = everything is smaller). U can even click apperance to change the style and colour of the tabs, say from blue to yellow or from window xp style to windows 2000 style. u can also add a screensaver (under screensaver to state the obvious) choose ur screen saver then choose the speed colour %26amp; words on some of them by clicking settings. IF U R HAPPY WITH UR SETTINGS DONT 4GET TO CLICK ..OK.. OR ..APPLY..

How to change display settings from laptop to 1080p tv correctly to view web pages.?
Hi again.
I just bought a 42'; 1080p TV and use it as my external monitor. The laptops original display settings was set to 1024X768 and then changed it to 1920x1080. It seems as though some webpages look the correct sizes, but some now just look very minute, almost as though they dont fully fill the screen. a good example of this now facebook or myspace. peoples photos are now smaller and once double clicked to enlarge the photo's they dont view as large as the previous setting. I am very confused as to what setting my computer should be set to. I have went to firefox%26gt;tools%26gt;options%26gt;text size etc, but just some pages are not filling the screen or as large as they once were but once changed back to the original settings they are back to normal.
Any answers would be highly appreciated and thanks to all who answered my previous questions but am now faced with this dilemma.How to change display settings from laptop to 1080p tv correctly to view web pages.?
Of course the webpages are going to look smaller on your HDTV.
Webpages are usually formatted to be displayed on screens no larger than 1024x768. And your HDTV's resolution is 1920x1080, which is 66% more area!
What you can do to take advantage of all that extra display space on your HDTV is to look at TWO webpages side-by-side.

I want to change my contact name on yahoo messenger when I chat with someone. I clidk on messenger, then My Contact Details and there is absolutely nothing there. You've already changed the name on your account--which is good---but that won't change the name on the outgoing mail.
IF that's what you're asking for, do this---go to your mail page and click on ';options';. Then scroll down to and click on ';general preferences';. Change the ';from'; line name, showing here, back to your name---or whatever you want---and then click ';save'; at bottom of page.
IF you want to change the ';Hi Lisa';--to ';Hi Kim';--try this. Go back to your account page and scroll down to --Address/Contact info--and click edit. The name entered into the first name box, is the name that appears as a welcome.

After you open up your 360 page, click on the “My Page” link near the top of the page.

It will automatically add your Yahoo! Avatar if you had made one already. Otherwise, go ahead and click on the browse button find the pic you have stored on your computer, click open, and then click on the save button at the bottom of the page. It will automatically save the 1st box as your primary pic when you upload. If you wish to display a pic from the other boxes click on the circle in that box that says “Set as primary” and save again.
When you return to your ';Edit profile'; page here on Yahoo! Answers you should see the avatar you uploaded to 360 and click the circle next to that and save the changes. (If you have kept your Edit Profile page open all this time, refresh it so it will display the changes you made)
*Note: Occasionally there is a glitch between 360 and Y!A where your 360 pic will not show. When that happens, I just switch to my Yahoo! Avatar. Until they straighten it out again.

You've already changed the name on your account--which is good---but that won't change the name on the outgoing mail.
IF that's what you're asking for, do this---go to your mail page and click on ';options';. Then scroll down to and click on ';general preferences';. Change the ';from'; line name, showing here, back to your name---or whatever you want---and then click ';save'; at bottom of page.
IF you want to change the ';Hi Lisa';--to ';Hi Kim';--try this. Go back to your account page and scroll down to --Address/Contact info--and click edit. The name entered into the first name box, is the name that appears as a welcome.

Windows Live Messenger crashes when I send/receive files, and when trying to change display picture!?
I use Windows Live Messenger 8.5, and it has been working fine, until recently.
I signed in the other day and within a few seconds I got a message stating ';windows live messenger has stopped working'; ';A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close program and notify you if a solution is available';
I managed to fix this problem by turning off my sharing folders, and it was working fine after that.
But today, the message is back (sharing forlders still off) only now I cannot send or receive files, and cannot hit the ';browse'; button to change my display picture.
When I do any of these things, the messenger window simply disappears and signs me out.
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Messenger, with no luck.
I am aware that there are newer versions of Windows Live at this point, but am not really wanting to change as I completely HATE the new windows.
How can I fix this??

One day back suddenly, a warning message appear on my computer

For instant messages you can click on messenger and select My Contact Details and change the first and last name this will then display what u put instead of your yahoo id and to change it back to your original yahoo id just do the same thing but delete what u put in the boxes.

If you want to change your nick name click on messenger then ';My profiles'; then click ';create/edit my profiles'; then browser window will open and select the id you want to edit by clciking edit. The bottom tool bar went from being blue and subtle to being the old-school grey with square corners. Then the internet screen is grey on top too. If you want your nickname to consist of multiple lines, you'll have to download the latest version of the Messenger Plus! addon.
1) Open a conversation window
2) Type /nick followed by a space and then your desired nickname, using [SHIFT]+[ENTER] to insert line breaks.
3) Press enter and your nickname will change.

Click on your name at the top after you sign in
It looks like this : ';your current name'; (status)
scroll down the menu it should say options...
click on that
then at the top it says

type in your desired name hit apply hit ok you're gold.

change your name and don't forget to click Apply and OK.
