If you use the old classic version of Y.Mail, go to

Mail Options %26gt; General Preferences

In the ';From name'; box, enter the name or nickname you want to use. Finally, click Save.

If you use the new Beta version, click Options %26gt; Mail Options and select Accounts from the side menu.

Click 'Add or edit an account'. When the Accounts window opens, click the Edit button. In the General Preferences window, enter the name you want to appear on your outgoing mails. Click Save.How to change display name of mail id?
go to user name and replace it

If you want to change your user name then first you should go mail option and click upon it, your user name wil come as you may say email account. After choosing other nickname or user name you will save it . You will change your user name by clcking upon edit option. After changing any word you should save it by clicking upon Save buttom.
