How do you change display picture in QQ Messenger?

I am using the International one,

ON A MAC.

So it is fairly different from the Windows one.



I just want to change the icon.How do you change display picture in QQ Messenger?
wow that is strange cos i ve changed it and it was quite simple on international one.. just double click on a picture then in a popped window click on pic above ';change icon'; and then upload. i ve done it and have my pic on qq. ^^How do you change display picture in QQ Messenger?
I think you just get the standard boy/girl icon unless you pay for the special features. I paid 10 yuan once for one month and then the picture eventually reverted back.
You have to pay money just to change a tiny icon, otherwise you have to pick one of the unattractive preselected ones! How cheap is that!
there are differeny user levels there...

so until you reach a certain level...

by paying or my time of using the qq (staying on-line)...

you cannot change your initial picture...



OS doesn't influence changing the avatar in qq...

however in Win Vista and higher you can use gif moving images (like gif)...

below that -- only non-motion ones (jpeg etc)...
