Here what you can do to change your display name or your Buddy's name on Yahoo IM: In order to do this person must be in your buddy list. You can also add your self in list. Then right click on your ID and then click on Contact Details and then one window will pop up now in that windows there will be field such as, Name, Last name Nick name ........ now Enter the name you want to be display in Nick name. and then click on save and that should do it.
