CHANGE ';FROM'; NAME IN YAHOO MAIL
1. Click on the ';Options';, Mail Options link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page.
2. At the top of the General page that opens, go to the box across from ';From';, click in the box, delete what you have in there, and enter a nickname, email address or whatever you would like displayed in outgoing mail.
4. Most important, go to the top left and click the Save Changes icon.How do I change my display name on Yahoo Mail?
If you have trouble changing it on one of the formats ALL NEW MAIL or MAIL CLASSIC just switch to the other one by clicking on OPTIONS.. once of those options will be to return to the other format. changing on one affects both of them
You can change the FROM name by doing the following..
In MAIL CLASSIC....click on OPTIONS...MAIL OPTIONS...scroll down to FROM NAME and change it to what you want. Go above and click on SAVE CHANGES. Note: If you leave the FROM NAME blank you will end up seeing this when you compose or forward an email.....FALSE followed by your email address.NOTE: for some reason this does not always work on Mail Classic. If it doesn't follow the steps as described in All New Mail..
In ALL NEW MAIL....click on OPTIONS....MAIL OPTIONS...go to the left side of the screen and click on ACCOUNTS...Once in click on ADD OR EDIT AN ACCOUNT...then click on EDIT...scroll down to FROM NAME and change it to what you want....Then go above and click on SAVE...Note: If you leave the FROM NAME blank you will see Yahoo Mail followed by your full name and your email address when composing or forwarding an email.
Go to your Yahoo Profile by clicking on the arrow next to your name at the top left hand corner of the page. This takes to you to your profile page and then in the middle of the page click on edit. This takes you to another screen where you can change your log in name and your display name. Be sure to save the changes that you made.
