I want to beable to get a digital display for my speedometre like ive seen in a few brochures of sr 50's, currently i have only the analog display, can anyone help?How can i change the display on my Aprillia SR50 Ditech?
Get a hammer and smash your old display off. then find a digital display and plug it in!
hah, no. I don't actually know, but you should be able to find replacement digital displays on ebay or from your dealer. It should be as simple as connecting the cable to the front wheel, connecting the power from the battery (the backlighting power cable should already be routed to your standard display) and mounting the new display. It will get much more difficult however if the display also includes RPM or a fuel gauge as well, since those would need to be hooked up to their respective parts and would likely need different gauges at each part (an analog fuel guage works differently from a digital etc.)
