How can i change my display name which appears when i send mails to others?

When i entered my name when i was opening my account, is now looking me odd. I tried so many time to change my display name but could'nt fing the right way to change the same.How can i change my display name which appears when i send mails to others?
To change your outgoing email name:



1. Go to your email box.



2. Click on 'Options' (upper right, horizontal list of options, blue letters).



3. Scroll down to and click on 'General Preferences' (second column, blue letters).



4. Scroll down to the 'Name and Email' section.



5. Change name in the 'From name: [_____________]' input field.



6. Click on the 'Save' button (top left, under 'Mail' tab).
