How to change the shutdown menu display?

I accidentally somehow changed the display of the shutdown options from being displayed in the blue window as icons to become a classic drop down menu. I would like to change it back to the way it was. You know the way it normally looks in windows xp.How to change the shutdown menu display?
You can again revert it back to defalut

goto control panel

click user accounts

In that click ';change the way the user log on or off';

then select ';use welcome screen';

and click apply options

If you deleted your profile off of the computer, that would cause this.
