go to my computer right click properties.... select general tab... display RAM capacity... how to change the ram capacity(only change display)How to change display of RAM capacity on system properties on windows xp?
the only way to change the ram capacity is by increasing the abount of ram in your computer - by buying more ad puting it in... or you can use page file...How to change display of RAM capacity on system properties on windows xp?
why do you wana do that?
As mike said -
Increase the memory - and the displayed value will change too.
The displayed amount of RAM is what the system is reading as available RAM, and its usually slightly different than what the memory actually is, this is because of virtual memory and locked memory by the system itself. If you want it to display a different amount, you'll need to have more or less memory installed. If you simply want it to display differently, i.e. instead of mbs you want bytes or not to show it at all, you'll need to hack the registry and change the values there....but as far as what it actually displays, you cant change that.
