I have checked the user manual and the Palm website. I have also contacted AT%26amp;T customer service since they are my carrier and I purchased the phone there but to no avail. If users already added you to their messenger list and/or address book, your old name setting will continue to get displayed for them. If you want those users to see your new name also, ask them to remove you from their messenger list and/or address book and add you back with your new info.

Just type in avatars.yahoo.com in the search bar at the top of your webpage. Make sure you're logged on. =)
To get it to show up…

Finally, there's a button that says Create New Public Profile, and by pushing that you will be taken to a registration form.

You can switch your default ID or change the ID within a conversation by selecting the appropriate ID from the dropdown box.

These names could be most anything and did not have to follow the rules for Yahoo IDs or Aliases. But unfortunately you cannot create them anymore or edit the ones you have. The new profile system does not have anything to do with the information on the chatters list in the Yahoo Chat rooms. Up until like 3 weeks ago there was one link left to the old profile system and people could still create and edit those nicknames but unfortunately yahoo shut down that link.
Now the most you can do if you want to use that Yahoo ID is to create an alias and then choose that before you enter the yahoo chat room.
HOW DO I CREATE AN ALIAS
For every Yahoo! ID you can create 6 aliases. In the Messenger menu at the top of Y!M choose My Account Info and once you sign in, on the right you will see where you can create aliases. I will be posting some help links for you that will explain this in detail. One major thing that is different now is that aliases cannot have unique profiles. If you want an alias to have a profile you will have to link it to your main Yahoo ID. Only link your alias to the main Yahoo ID if you do not mind that they share a profile.

The only way is to sign up for a new account because there are no options on changing name on Yahoo! Chat. To change on messenger go to ur messenger list and on the top left of the corner go to messenger and then My contact details and enter in a name and click safe and close at the bottom right or hit the enter key.

The only way is to sign up for a new account because there are no options on changing name on Yahoo! Chat. To change on messenger go to ur messenger list and on the top left of the corner go to messenger and then My contact details and enter in a name and click safe and close at the bottom right or hit the enter key.
There might me one way you can change it on Yahoo! Chat but im not 100% sure if it works.

I'd imagine what's probably happening is that you have the Console portion of the KVM switched attached to an LCD monitor that only support 1-3 different refresh rates. Since the KVM switch tries to talk to the monitor and the monitor can't render what the KVM switch supports, the monitor doesn't know how to interpret the signal. Try changing the refresh rate to 60Hz, then 65Hz, then 70Hz until you no longer see the ';No Signal'; message from your monitor. If you don't have an LCD monitor, by all means, provide more information about the hardware that's involved (including any relevant technical specifications about the hardware such as supported resolution/refresh rates.
